About Me

Genesis is a photography teacher at San Luis High School, where he inspires students to explore the art and impact of visual storytelling. He is a graduate of Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, where he earned his bachelor's degree with honors, Magna Cum Laude, in May 2022.

Before becoming an educator, Genesis worked as both a photojournalist and news anchor at Cronkite News – Arizona PBS. He also developed a strong foundation in marketing and public relations. His professional experience in journalism, combined with a passion for photography and storytelling, drives his commitment to helping students discover their creative voices.
